Makenna Harnish

Makenna is an artist who focuses on mainly drawing and sculpture as their main practices and is from bible hill, Nova Scotia

 

Their work focuses on exploring creatures of their own design through their work. They focus on telling the stories of the creatures and characters and the worldbuilding for the world they envision them existing within. Makenna also looks at how cutting out drawings affect the work and combine a mixture of their drawing and sculptural practice.

 

Makenna’s work this year focuses on working on one of their monstrous characters they call “The One and Only”.
