Elijah Marr

Born, raised, educated and domesticated in Sackville NB, Elijah Marr’s Artistic practice is multidisciplinary. It includes elements of video, audio and performance.

 

Currently, Elijah is examining his peculiar relationship with language. This relationship was formed by the combination of inability and identity, resulting in silence. A silence which has left him ill-equipped to articulate.

 

Elijah’s practice serves as both a cathartic self-discovery and self-expression, with the intention of these experiences being to overcome inarticulation by embracing personal voice.
